Review of The Movie The Boss Baby

The movie _The Boss Baby_ is based on the board book _ The Boss Baby_ by Marla Frazee.   I think in the movie format it was a really good technique to have the brother as narrator; there is a shortness of the board book that doesn’t allow for that dimension.   I also really liked how the text from the book is narrated at the beginning of the movie when Tim is exasperated at the perpetual alienation caused by The Boss Baby’s nasty demeanor.   If I wrote the book I would want the text inserted in this manner.   I did a similar technique on the novel I am working on since it is expanded from a lyrical poem, and it was important to me to retain where it came from I have lines from that in the 1 st chapter.
